ACC Banner Machines


The ACC distribution program is a computer replacement program funded by SCHEV to provide desktop or laptop replacement machines for departments funded by E&G funding (Educational and General--208). These machines must support Educational and General programs, and employees must be E&G funded and provide administrative support to the electronic administration systems. The program is renewed on a yearly basis, dependent on funding.

April 7, 2011 Update:
SCHEV funding is now available for the ACC Banner machine program for 2011.

However, due to the very late arrival of funding, there are a few changes to the program this year:

  • We are not able to conduct a survey prior to placing orders. We will be ordering a fixed number of machines, based on funding and past ACC purchases. Because we must place the order prior to the survey, you may not recieve your first choice of machine. You will be offered options to choose your preferences in the survey.
  • We will not be able to deliver machines to your department/location. Once a decision has been made, you will be notified when and where you can pick up your machine. If you or your departmental contact is unable to pick up the machine, it can be shipped to you at your expense.
  • The computer specs are not available at this time, but all machines ordered will have comparable specifications based on availability from current vendor offerings.

Individual Eligibility Criteria

  • You must be an active Banner user.
  • You must not qualify to receive a machine from the Faculty Development Institute program.
  • Your position must be at least partially funded by Educational and General (208) funds.
  • Your position must not have received a computer from the ACC program or Banner machine distribution program in the past four years.
  • The machine you are requesting replacement for must not have been replaced by a new ACC machine within the past four years.
  • You must accept these computers on your department's inventory and abide by SCHEV property control requirements.
  • Machines from previous distribution that are currently assigned to open positions will not be replaced.
