Hyperion

While nearly every reporting and query tool can be used against the data warehouse, Information Warehousing and Access (IWA) offers training and support on a widely used tool called Hyperion Intelligence Client. Hyperion Intelligence Client is a plug-in application that works with a Web browser, either Netscape or Internet Explorer. The plug-in allows a connection to the Hyperion Server and provides an interface for users to create queries. Hyperion Intelligence Client offers a variety of options for exploring the query results including drilling down in areas of interest to see more detail. Hyperion Intelligence Client also offers an array of reporting choices using tables, charts, and pivots. Queries that answer recurring questions can be developed, saved, and then run whenever an updated result set is desired.
