Report Distribution System
The Report
Distribution (Web Distribution) System
(https://ditto2.iwa.vt.edu/webdist/webviewer/), developed
at Virginia Tech and maintained by Information Warehousing
and Access (IWA), provides a mechanism for specifying the
distribution of report output. The Report Distribution System
notifies recipients via e-mail when reports are available.
The e-mail message can then be used to retrieve the report.
A report recipient can view, print, download, or forward the
report. Each report is retained by the system for 30 days.
The Report Distribution System can be used to distribute a
variety of output. Reports initiated using the Report
Submission (Web Job) System (https://ditto2.iwa.vt.edu/webreport/submit),
such as the Finance Web Reports, are distributed using the
Report Distribution System.
Note: Authorization to use Report
Distribution to retrieve Finance Web Reports is routinely
granted when Banner Finance access is established. For details,
