Report Submission System

The Report Submission (Web Job) System (https://ditto2.iwa.vt.edu/webreport/submit?method=Common.frameset2), developed at Virginia Tech and maintained by Information Warehousing and Access (IWA), provides for the submission of reports over the Web. This includes reports which run against the Data Warehouse or the Banner database.

Some features of the Report Submission System include:

  • A user's computer is not tied up while reports are running.
  • A user can create personal folders and save a report along with the parameters used to run it.
  • A given report may be saved multiple times with different names and parameters.
  • Reports can be distributed to multiple recipients.
  • Distribution can be delayed until a reviewer approves the report results.
  • Reports are distributed via the Report Distribution (Web Distribution) System, which is also maintained by IWA.
