Working in collaboration with our computing support help desk, 4Help hires a temporary staff of approximately 40 students who are technically experienced with computer software configurations, the Virginia Tech ethernet network, and the Internet to work as a part of their Get Connected Staff.

Housing over 1300 solutions, answers.vt.edu provides 24x7 access to computing support articles for a wide variety of problems.
Online services provided for alumni include the Alumni Gateway, Email, My VT, Hokie SPA, and other resources.
Through the Alumni Gateway, you can take VT AlumnNet online courses, view and update your profile, get a PID, and use the online Alumni Directory. For more information, see the Update My Profile and PID page.
The Departmental Computer Support Symposium (DCSS) is presented every year in April and October. The symposium allows support personnel from various departments on campus to learn more about technology trends on campus.
