Auralog Tell Me More Language Software

Auralog Tell Me More Language Software

Auralog Tell Me More is a software tool used in some Virginia Tech classes to aid students in their foreign language studies.

During the 2008-2009 academic year, selected foreign language classes in the Foreign Languages and Literatures department and classes in the English Language Institute used Auralog's Tell Me More software. Classes in Arabic, Chinese, English-as-a-second-language, French, German, and Spanish used online Tell Me More software to supplement intermediate level language learning.

The software contains more than 2000 hours of study material focusing on use of language for real communication, through listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, and culture. It features speech recognition capabilities that compare a learner's speech to patterns set by native speakers.
